R. Pavan Kumar, the visionary behind  CommuniTea, is a former  Deputy Manager at State Bank of India , who took voluntary retirement to follow his entrepreneurial dreams.

Driven by a deep passion for tea, he founded two successful tea franchise brands —  Desi Chai  and  South Indian Filter Coffee — and built a thriving network of  200+ outlets across 7 states.

With years of hands-on experience in tea retail, franchising, and operations, he launched  CommuniTea  as a community platform to  educate, inspire, and support* individuals in the tea business — from enthusiasts and aspiring tea shop owners to those looking to start their  own tea brand or franchise.

Through tea tasting, blending sessions, and deep business insights, R. Pavan Kumar aims to create  teapreneurs who turn their love for tea into sustainable success.
